About NieR Automata
Nier: Automata does a great deal and only appears to suffer for it inside a handful of pretty smaller ways, probably the most glaring of that are its numerous invisible walls. Although it is possible to double jump and mantle your way across the obstacle-riddled environments, there’s a tiny distinction in between climbable surfaces and unclimbable barriers even in areas that appear like they’re totally constructed to be scaled. Its maps are filled with secretive nooks and crannies which tends to make the inevitable backtracking much more tolerable, but in fact, accessing these spaces might be deeply frustrating, plus the cumbersome 3D globe map does not present a lot enable in that regard. Following two dozen hours, I nonetheless struggled to understand where I could and couldn’t go and finding the right path up or down sometimes involved the equivalent of beating my head against a wall until one of several two lastly gave.
